The project has delivered over 200 residential and office container units, featuring a modular box‑type design that offers convenient transportation and rapid on‑site installation. Each unit is equipped with a private bathroom, air‑conditioning outlets, and standardized furniture, meeting students’ everyday living needs. The exterior walls combine sophisticated gray with white, harmonizing seamlessly with the campus’s overall architectural style.
The logistics management department of Yunnan University stated that the container‑style dormitories were completed in just 60 days from order placement to move‑in, significantly faster than the construction timeline for conventional buildings. Moreover, the modular design allows for easy relocation or expansion in response to changes in the university’s planning, offering a distinct advantage in flexibility.
In addition to Yunnan University, Farrell also provided Guizhou Normal University with a project to expand student dormitories and construct temporary office space for faculty members during the same period. The company’s accumulated experience in the field of modular construction for universities has laid the foundation for it to expand into a broader market within the education sector.
