Recently, Farrell Modular Housing Technology (Khorgos) Co., Ltd. successfully completed the bulk delivery of 500 residential containers and prefabricated box-type housing units to a China Railway Bureau’s Sichuan-Tibet Railway project team. These containers will serve as living and office spaces for railway construction workers on the plateau, providing logistical support to ensure the smooth progress of this national key project.

These containers will serve as living and office spaces for railway construction workers on the plateau, providing logistical support to ensure the smooth progress of this national key project.
The Sichuan–Tibet Railway runs through high-altitude regions with large temperature fluctuations and challenging construction conditions, placing stringent demands on the thermal insulation performance, structural strength, and transportability of container houses. In response to the unique characteristics of the plateau environment, Farrell’s technical team conducted specialized optimizations to the container units: they employed a thickened steel frame paired with high-density rock wool insulation to ensure residential comfort even under extreme climatic conditions; moreover, the container design balances modular assembly with rapid disassembly, meeting the transportation and installation requirements of complex terrains.
As a long-term strategic partner of the company, a certain bureau of China Railway has collaborated with Farrell for many years. In this project, Farrell leveraged the production capacity advantages of its Beijing and surrounding-area manufacturing bases, combined with the coordinated scheduling capabilities of its more than 110 nationwide service outlets, to ensure the efficient end-to-end operation of the order—from production to installation.
